About Meloidogyne arenaria
The peanut root knot nematode, M. arenaria , is a plant pathogenic nematode, causing significant damage to crops of peanut, vegetables, grasses, fruit ornamentals and tobacco in the Southern United States.
Genome Assembly & Annotation
The genome was sequenced using PacBio long reads, as described in Sato et al (2018).
The annotation was produced using AUGUSTUS and submitted to WormBase in September 2018 by Dr Kazuki Sato.
