About Meloidogyne enterolobii

The nematode _ Meloidogyne enterolobii_, a root-knot nematode, infects a variety of crops such as eggplant, bell pepper, soybean, sweet potato, tobacco, tomato, or watermelon. Genome Assembly & Annotation

Assembly

The entire assembly process is outlined in Koutsovoulos et al., (2020). A preliminary assembly was created from trimmed Pacbio reads using Canu. The preliminary assembly was checked for contamination. clean contigs were retained, and a new assembly was created with Canu. The clean assembly was then corrected with pilon.

Annotation

The entire annotation process is outlined in Koutsovoulos et al., (2020).
